” ‘A’ohe pu’u ki’eki’e ke ho’ā’o ‘ia e pi’i”
“No cliff is so tall that it cannot be scaled.”
For two years, I had worked hard on trying to drive up to the summit of Haleakala and failed to do so for reasons between the pandemic and soaring car rental rates due to tourism surge. But recently embarked on that very trip and for two days, was one of the most wholesome travel expereriences. Haleakala, is also a very special, spiritual, and sacred place for Native Hawaiians. So one will feel present and all problems shall fade atop this mountain. At least, it did for me….
aloha.
