6 years ago today, I was in Montenegro and despite spending much of my time along the Adriatic coastline, a part of that time was that detour into the iconic and majestic Kotor Bay. This fjord like setting sits in a T-shaped inlet with a road going along the perimeter of the bay with towering mountains. It just does not seem real when your there.
Kotor town is a fortified city on the far corner of the bay and delivers some incredible views from the fortress overlook. In this picture is of the outer walls. The mountains really give perspective just how immense they are!
