As of a few days ago, I started the editing phase of my biggest video project I have ever worked on and probably will ever work on for quite some time, wholly interconnected into this grand series of immersive Pacific work titled
“One Ocean, One People”.
January last year saw the publication of Living Like A Palauan which proved to me how much potential I have of doing such a project again. In the backdrop of that project was already one in motion, A Native Hawaiian Cultural Project!
I left Hawai’i in August to have family time for 4-5 months before voyaging onward in the Pacific again. But in that time, I have been doing something I’ve never done before, edited down over 20 interviews, some in another language.
The editing process for this project is intimidating as hell as again, I’ve never done anything on this scale before and taking new acquired skills and tools to the test. But I feel confident in my abilities and talents to do this.
After all, IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THIS!
Bare patience with me as this is going to take time and tons of hard work!
I appreciate you voyagers!
What do you look forward to exploring in thi Cultural Hawaiian Project?
